Abstract

Purpose: One of the purposes of this study is the perceptions of information technologies and the motivation of the employees; analysis of the effects of demographic variables, and the other goal is to examine the effects of perceptions of information technologies on the motivation of employees. Information technologies (IT) consist of elements such as networking, hardware and software that have been used during the design and development of systems established in order to further manage the information obtained. With the knowledge age, many new technologies have been developed, but social and economic changes have also occurred. Businesses that can get information quickly among competing businesses and can use the information they have obtained in the most effective way can gain more competitive advantage and increase the motivation of their employees. Design/methodology/approach – While preparing the theoretical part of the study, articles, books, internet, etc. related to the field. Secondary sources such as. In the research part, research data were obtained with quantitative techniques and questionnaire applications that could reveal cause-effect relationships. At the same time, with the help of SPSS statistical programs, with the help of many statistical techniques such as reliability, anova and regression analysis; The hypotheses formed for the purposes of the research were examined. The population of the research was 1184 people working in the businesses in the consultancy center in Ankara OSTİM and 449 people were the sample. Results: When the data obtained in this study are examined; Involved in the use of IT; When the variables of revealing personal skills and individual factors in the motivation of employees are compared, liking the profession and the gender of the individuals; statistically the difference was determined. Also involved in the use of C.T’s.; revealing personal, technology adoption, skills variables and individual factors in the motivation of employees; When the attitude and job satisfaction of my superiors were compared with the age of the individuals, a statistical difference was found. Discussion: Competition between businesses is growing rapidly around the world. Therefore, girls are competing in the global world and as a result, the importance of INFORMATION systems is increasing. The use of electronic equipment in the workplace sparked by competition. Increasing the quality of the goods services of countries producing and using technology; it can make significant contributions to increasing the motivation of employees, the greater satisfaction of consumers and the greater the number of businesses. Therefore, in this research, the effects of the data obtained as a result of the surveys obtained in terms of motivation for the business employees of information systems will be examined through the Analysis of the SPSS statistical program, negativity will be determined and recommendations for applications that will relieve efficiency will be developed. Technology is described as a concept, as methods used to do information-related work. In order to talk about technological development, information-based works need to be in less time.
