After that, other journals such as “InternationalJournal of LogisticsManagement, Journal of BusinessLogistics” were published (Gravier and Farris, 2008). At the same period, associations which bring scientists, sector representatives together were established. First academic study goes back to 1850’s, when Henry Adams, who was president of Yale University, offered the course “Economics of Transport” (Farris, 1997). In this study, our country’s academic perspective of logistics science will be determined by content analysis method in national publications between the years of 1980-2011. All scientific researches that have been conducted in Turkey about “Logistics”, are searched in YÖK ElectronicTheses archive and local indexes. The distribution of data obtained is analyzed according to publishingyears, universities/institutes, languages, keywords, research scopes, and subjects’ trends of change are determined.
