Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine the level of job burnout of practitioners of accountancy. The study is carried out on 136 practitioners of accountancy that are operating in Diyarbakir. As the scale of job burnout “Maslach Burnout Inventory” consisting of 22 questionshas been used. As a result, practitioners of accountancy’ the burnout sub-dimensions that make up the overall low level of emotional exhaustion subscale are measured. However this varies depending on age. The personal achievement sense subscale is determined as the size of moderate. However, the depersonalization is found as a high level from age groups point of view. However this varies depending on age. The results are similar with the results of other research that have been done before in different occupation groups.
