Abstract

Purpose -This business purpose explores the impact of organizational learning on Purpose: It is aimed to reveal the moderating role of work motivation in the effect of organizational support perception on employees' absorption. In addition, within the scope of the study, the relationship between organizational support, motivation and absorption was examined. Design\methodology\approach – Previously developed scales were used within the scope of the study. After deciding to use the original scale, data were collected by questionnaire method. The collected data were analyzed by quantitative research method. The universe of the study consists of public and private sector employees. In this direction, data were obtained from 430 employee who were reached by easy sampling method and accepted to participate in the study. A statistical program was used to test the construct validity and reliability of the scale used. The hypotheses were tested with the help of Hayes (2013) Process macro program in order to reveal the simple and modetaritng effects for testing the hypotheses. As a result of the analysis, the first two hypotheses were supported and the last hypothesis was not supported. Findings: A significant and positive relationship was found between organizational support, work motivation and absorption. As a result of the analysis of the collected data, it was determined that the employees were more motivated and focused on their work more as a result of the positive support they received at the workplace. In addition, it has been found that the perception of organizational support of employees positively and significantly affects on absorption. Discussion: It is recommended that the employees be supported psychologically, physically and emotionally by the workplace and their supervisor in the business environment. It is necessary for the employees to be supported with financial elements in their absorption, but it is not sufficient on its own. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the spiritual elements in their motivation to work. In this respect, factors such as caring for employees, raising their morale, and trust are important factors in their motivation for their work and thinking only about the work they have done.
