Abstract

Design/methodology/approach – a survey was conducted in the central administration and subunits affiliated to the central administration of an automotive company operating in Istanbul province as part of the research. The dataset of 209 respondents obtained from the survey was analyzed. In the research analysis, validity, reliability and normality tests were first conducted. Then, a confirmatory factor analysis was conducted for the relevant scales. In addition, correlation analysis was performed to determine the degree of relationship between the variables, and multiple regression analysis was used to test the research hypotheses. Findings – As a result of the research, it was found that interactional justice has a positive and significant influence on the dimensions of economic and family needs, social needs, knowledge needs (learning and teaching), and esthetic and creative needs of the quality of work life. Discussion – the results show that interactional justice is an extremely critical phenomenon for organizations. When we approach the research subject both organizationally and individually, it was found that the climate of justice in the organization and quality of work life are important and indispensable in both issues. Moreover, studies in the relevant literature also support the importance of the concepts of interactional justice and quality of work life in the well-being of these two issues and the achievement of common goals.
