Purpose – In this research, it is aimed to reveal the knowledge level of senior employees at Kardemir INC. about the blue ocean strategy. Design/methodology/approach – The research, which was carried out according to the qualitative research design, was carried out in four stages, including literature review, interviews, content analysis with the data, and conclusions. Literature review and document analysis were used to collect the qualitative data of the research, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with ten participants working as decision makers within Kardemir INC. Results – As a result of the evaluation; The participants stated that they know the blue ocean strategy, that it is very important for the success of a company, that research and development is a critical stage, and that the number of patents should be increased. Discussion – Within the scope of sales and marketing strategy and sustainability, it has been suggested to make necessary preparations for training qualified personnel and developing know-how.
