Abstract

The goal of this study is to clarify the role of emotions of university students, who are constitute potential entrepreneurs, on entrepreneurial intention. In this context, the emotions and entrepreneurial intentions of 343 university students who are studying at Atatürk University Faculty of Economics Administrative Sciences are discussed. According to the results, it is identified that in terms of some positive emotions there is difference between the group with high entrepreneurial intention and the group with low entrepreneurial intention. The determining role of individual’s some positive emotions on the entrepreneurial intention pointed out that this kind of positive emotions should be encouraged in order to create an entrepreneur society.
