Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the professional, social and intellectual orientations of vocational college students. In order to investigate these orientations, a survey form consisting of 21 items was presented to the students of vocational colleges from 6 universities serving in the greater city area of Istanbul. Responses from 537 participants were statistically analyzed using frequency tables, correlation table, two sample t-test and ANOVA test. Thirteen out of the 42 hypotheses were accepted as the result of these analyses, and statistically significant differences found between the demographical groups of participants.
