Abstract

This study is to examine the relationship between employees perceptions of psychological contract violations and organizational cynicism levels in hotel businesses, which have an important place in service enterprises. It is also the determination of the effect of some demographic variables. In this study, it was aimed to determine the levels of organizational cynicism and cynicism of employees, psychological contract violations and some demographic factors affecting organizational cynicism level and sub dimensions. In this direction, the data used in the study were collected by the questionnaire method and reached to 720 persons who agreed to participate in the survey. As a result of there search, it was determined that the employees in the direction of the analyzes had experienced the most cognitive cynicism with in organizational cynicism subdimensions, then behavioral cynicism and finally cognitive cynicism. Psychological contract violation perception levels were also found to be moderate in general. It has been found that employees are positively but low level related to psychological contract violation perception levels and organizational cynicism levels. Suggestions on the topic were presented.
