(A Research on the Effect of Personality Traits on Innovative Behavior)

Purpose — The purpose of this research is to determine whether the personality traits of the employees have an effect on their innovative behavior. Design/methodology/approach — The data of the research were obtained by questionnaire from 708 employees working in Wellness establishments. Correlation and regression analysis were performed on the collected data. According to the research model, personality traits were examined as an independent variable and innovative behavior as a dependent variable. Findings – In the study, it was concluded that the personality traits of the employees have an effect on their innovative behavior. Discussion – In line with the results of the analysis, it is accepted that the awareness of the personality traits of the employees in Wellness businesses will increase the employee profile exhibiting innovative behavior. When evaluated in general; the limited number of studies examining the interaction between variables makes the findings of the study important.
