Abstract

Purpose – The innovations and changes brought by digitalization to the business world continue to increase day by day. In this study, it is aimed to determine how and in what direction the relationships between the concepts of digital leadership, digital organizational culture and intrapreneurship, which emerged with the innovations brought by digitalization, can be interpreted more easily while integrating them into business processes, and thus, they can get more efficiency from the effects of digitalization. Design/methodology/approach – This study was carried out for the employees of an embroidery operating in the defense industry sector in Ankara. A questionnaire was applied to 262 employees of the mentioned business. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23 and AMOS 18 Package programs. Regression (Process Macro) analysis was performed to test the hypotheses. Findings – After the analysis, it was seen that digital leadership has a significant effect on organizational culture and intrapreneurship. It has been determined that digital leadership has a mediating role of digital organizational culture in the effect of intrapreneurship. In the other two hypotheses of the research, the effects of digital leadership on digital organizational culture and intrapreneurship were found to be moderate. In addition, it has been determined that the relationship between digital organizational culture and intrapreneurship is at a moderate level. Discussion – It has been seen that the concepts arising from the digitalization process are generally related to each other. However, in order to strengthen this determination, it is necessary to focus on studies on these issues. It is considered that the applications to be made in different universes and scales can strengthen the literature.
