In this research, the items of the encyclopedias in the fields of business and management published on different dates were compared. Through this comparison, it has been tried to understand the historical change in the content of information both in the business field and in the management field. Items of the oldest and contemporary examples of encyclopedias for business and management areas were compared among themselves and evaluated for changes in the information covered in these encyclopedias, with specific time intervals among them. The scope of this review is to assess the change over time in the content of information that is generally focused on business and management areas. In comparison, it has been found that, as can be expected, the scope of business and management information has changed significantly. Compared with the two general business encyclopedias, almost all of the articles in the two encyclopedias are completely different as expected. The difference in terms of the issues discussed in the management encyclopedias is quite high.
