Abstract

This study investigates the historical development of the relation between companies and technology. Especially, it focuses on the new technology adaptation in the retail industry due to both the widespread technology usage in this sector and its technology guiding role. The usage of one of the current new technologies, intelligent video analysis software systems, in retail industry is evaluated and measures for such systems are determined.
