Abstract

The aim of the research is determining the perception of transformational leadership of the hotel staff and identifying whether this perception differs depending on the situation at hotel and demographic characteristics. This study was performed on 391 employees in four and five star hotels operating in Antalya province. Data were collected through a questionnaire. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the employees showed intellectual stimulation behavior mostly for the organization’s benefit and that the perceptions of employees’ differ significantly with respect to educational status, position, total operating time, department, the condition of tourism education and the number of stars.
